Duke

Duke earned his teaching credential from California State University Fresno; his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and his Masters of Education from National University.

Duke began his career as an educational leader in 1992, teaching for the California Department of Corrections. He promoted to Assistant Principal before joining Los Banos High School as a Dean of Students. During his tenure with Los Banos Unified School District, his career progressed to Assistant Principal, and then High School Principal before relocating to Montgomery with his wife, Jennifer.

Jennifer

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from San Diego State University, CA. She completed her Master/Student Teaching Program at Poway USD, in San Diego, CA; as well as coursework through the University of San Diego and Chapman University, CA.

Jennifer began her career as an educational leader in 1993, teaching K-8th grade, including work in a Severely Handicapped Classroom and Bilingual Classes with La Mesa/Spring Valley District. She taught 4th Grade, including Special Education and Limited English at Carlton Hills Christian School, before moving to teach for Pleasanton USD in Pleasanton, CA. In 2013, Jennifer began teaching at Runyan Elementary in Conroe ISD; and is currently teaching for Montgomery ISD at Keenan Elementary.

 

Duke's Academic Coaching Experience

During his nearly 25 year career in educational leadership, Duke had the privilege of coaching numerous students to reach their potential and academic success.

Jen's Academic Coaching Experience

During her nearly 25 year career in educational leadership, Jennifer earned several meritorious awards and received special recognition, including being nominated Teacher of the Year in 2015, and receiving a Humanitarian Award in 2016.
